Game Rules

Every rule of FOMO4D, stated in full. Each number here is a constant in contract/src and is cited so you can check it yourself. The economic argument behind the design — curve derivations, the three-flywheel loop, dividend accounting — lives in the whitepaper.

Section 1

Overview

Three moving parts. Everything below is detail.

01 Buy a Key

The price only goes up. 20% of every buy market-buys $4D on the BSC liquidity venue and burns it, on the spot.

02 The Clock Moves

Every whole key adds 30 seconds, capped 6 hours out. Buy a whole key and you become the current winner.

03 Zero

When nobody buys in time, it's over. The last buyer takes 48% of the pot, key holders split 50%, the team takes 2%.

Section 2

Where Your Money Goes

Every purchase splits the same way. Percentages below are shares of what you actually pay, so they add to 100%.

DestinationShare of your buyWhat it does
Burn20% Market-buys $4D and destroys it, in the same transaction. Fixed for everyone.
Dividends25.6% – 52.0% Paid pro rata to every key holder at that moment, including the keys you just bought. Set by your team.
Pot18.4% – 44.8% The jackpot. Set by your team.
Referral8% Your referrer, only if they hold a registered name. Otherwise this joins the pot.
Team1.6% Fixed for everyone.

The contract states these differently. It first takes 20% for the burn, then splits the remaining 80% — the BNB leg — into referral 10%, team 2%, and a team-selected gen/pot pair that sums to 88%. That is why the raw constants read 3200 / 5600 rather than percentages of your buy: they are hundredths of the BNB leg. Both framings describe the same transfer. Fomo4DGame.sol:248–257

One detail worth knowing: the pot's share is computed as the remainder after the other three are taken, not as its own rounded percentage. That makes the five amounts sum to your payment exactly, to the wei, and sends every rounding remainder to the pot. Fomo4DGame.sol:257, V-11

Section 3

Keys & Price

PriceRises along a fixed curve, P(c) = √(A² + 2Bc), where c is total BNB ever spent on keys. Every purchase raises the price for the next buyer. Fomo4DCurve.sol
Can it fall? No. The curve is monotone and the constants are immutable — nobody who buys after you pays less than you did.
Transferable? No. Keys cannot be sent to another address.
Sellable? No. There is no sell function; capital comes back only through dividends and the endgame. If you want a liquid position, hold $4D instead.
FractionsYou can buy a fraction of a key. It earns dividends normally, but only a whole key resets the clock and takes the lead.
Minimum buy0.0001 BNB.
Wallets onlyContracts cannot buy keys — including smart-contract wallets. Play from a regular address.

Paying for a key. One payment, all BNB (Game.buyKey). The contract takes 20% of it, market-buys $4D on the BSC liquidity venue and burns it — real burn, totalSupply goes down. You never have to hold $4D to play.

Section 4

Teams

Your team does not change how many keys you get, what they cost, or what you are owed. It changes one thing only: how your money divides between dividends paid out now and the pot paid out at the end. The two columns below are that division, so they add to 100%. The slice being divided is the same size whichever team you pick — burn, referral and team fees are fixed and sit outside it. The last column is what the contract stores, in basis points of the BNB leg.

TeamDividendsPotContract (of BNB leg)
WHALE — fattens the pot36%64%3200 / 5600
BEAR — splits it down the middle50%50%4400 / 4400
BULL — charges, never stalls59%41%5200 / 3600
SNEK — coils around the yield74%26%6500 / 2300

The first two columns are shares of your total payment; the last column is the raw constant, in hundredths of the BNB leg. The remaining 29.6% — burn, referral, team — is identical for all four. Fomo4DGame.sol:108–113

Individually, SNEK dominates. More of your money returns to you and the other holders, sooner. In the 2018 original, between 83% and 91% of capital chose the equivalent team. Four options exist for expression, not for strategy — pick the pot-heavy teams only if you intend to win the endgame.

Section 5

The Clock

Starts at3 hours, from the moment of launch.
Each whole keyAdds 30 seconds.
CeilingThe clock can never point more than 6 hours into the future. Buying past the ceiling still mints keys and pays dividends — it just cannot extend the deadline further.
Taking the leadBuy at least one whole key in a single purchase and you become the current winner, replacing whoever held it.
EndingThe round ends only if nobody buys a whole key for the entire remaining time. Any address may then call finalize().

Keeping the game alive costs 2880 keys a day — about 0.22 BNB at launch, and still under 2 BNB a day after a thousandfold growth in volume, because the key price grows only with the square root of inflow. The game is built to run indefinitely; ending is the unusual outcome, not the scheduled one.

Section 6

Dividends & Vaults

Holding keys pays you from every purchase that follows yours. Nothing is pushed to your wallet automatically — everything accumulates until you withdraw it.

VaultFilled by
DividendsThe dividend share of every later purchase, split by key ownership at that instant. Your own new keys are included in the buy that creates them.
Re-buy creditAmounts refunded by the 2 BNB early cap.
Winner prize48% of the pot, if you hold the lead when the clock reaches zero.
Referral earnings8% of every purchase made through your link, once you hold a registered name.

A single withdraw() empties all four at once. If the clock has already reached zero, withdrawing settles the round first, in the same transaction — the winner never has to wait for anyone else to act. Claims never expire; there is no sweep function and no owner who could call one. Fomo4DGame.sol — withdraw

There is no compounding function. To reinvest, withdraw and buy again. Merging the two would put dividend settlement and key minting on the same code path, which is exactly where accounting bugs live.

Section 7

Referrals

Commission8% of every purchase made through your link (10% of its BNB leg), credited immediately.
EligibilityYou must hold a registered name. Registration costs 0.01 BNB, paid in full to the team address.
NamesLowercase a–z, 0–9 and _, 1–32 characters. Unique, one per address, permanent.
BindingA referrer binds on the buyer's first purchase and persists until they name a different one.
TimingEligibility is checked at each payment, not at binding. Register late and your existing bindings start paying from that moment — they do not need to be redone.
No referrerThe 8% joins the pot. It is never kept by the team.

Anyone with two wallets can refer themselves, and the registration fee pays for itself after 0.125 BNB of volume. This is not preventable on-chain and we are not going to claim otherwise — treat the referral program as a volume discount available to anyone willing to register. Fomo4DGame.sol:263–268

Section 8

The Endgame

When the clock reaches zero, the pot is distributed once and the round is over. Purchases revert afterwards; $4D keeps trading on the BSC liquidity venue forever.

RecipientShare of the pot
The last buyer48%
All key holders, pro rata50%
Team2%

There is no seed for a next round — this is a single round and the whole pot is paid out. What you read on the contract is the whole of it: trading fees are charged by the BSC liquidity venue and paid straight to the team wallet, so nothing is waiting to be swept in at the end. The team sends trading fees back into the pot from time to time (donateToPot), and the number on this page moves the moment they do. Fomo4DGameV2.sol — finalize

Expect the final seconds to be automated. The lead in the closing blocks is worth up to 48% of the pot against the cost of one key, so it will be contested by bots. Every bid in that contest is itself a purchase — it extends the clock, pays dividends to every holder, and burns $4D. Price the dividends and the holders' 50%; treat the jackpot as a lottery ticket rather than a plan.

Section 9

Spec & Addresses

Everything below is pulled from ../DESIGN.md §10 and contract/src. The full mechanism — curve math, token economics, dividend accounting, the three-flywheel loop — is written up in the whitepaper. An empty address means not yet deployed; fill in assets/config.js and the page switches to the real chain.

Public Maintenance
